shibaSIM respects and protects your personal information. shibaSIM is operated from Japan; we process personal data in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and Vietnam's Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to process an order and support you:

  • Phone number / Zalo: required when placing an order, to deliver an eSIM code and provide one-to-one support.
  • Email: to send order confirmation and the eSIM activation code.
  • Name and delivery address: when you purchase a physical SIM to be sent by post.
  • Order information: the plan purchased, timing, and processing status.
  • Technical data / cookies: we use Google Analytics for anonymised measurement to improve the website.

We do not store your bank-card number; payment data is handled by the payment gateway.

2. How we use information

We use information to deliver eSIM/SIM products, send order confirmations and updates, provide technical support through Zalo or LINE, process exchanges or refunds when needed, and improve service quality. We do not sell personal data.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share only the minimum information needed to fulfil an order with:

  • payment gateways (VNPay, MoMo, ZaloPay) or banks, to process a transaction;
  • eSIM supply partners, to provision the data plan for your order; and
  • delivery providers, with your delivery address when you purchase a physical SIM.

These parties receive information only for their part of the service and must keep it confidential as required by applicable rules.

4. Processing in Japan

Because shibaSIM is operated from Japan, your data may be stored and processed in Japan or through service providers we use. We apply appropriate safeguards under APPI and Vietnamese law when processing and transferring data across borders.

5. Retention and protection

Order data is kept in systems with access controls and reasonable measures against unauthorised access. We retain it for as long as needed to fulfil the order, provide after-sales support, and meet legal obligations; it is then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under APPI and Vietnamese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or withdrawal of consent for your personal data. Contact [email protected] or the Zalo or LINE channel in the site footer; we handle requests within the period required by law.

7. Responsible party and contact

shibaSIM is responsible for processing your personal data (a personal information handling business operator, operated from Japan). For a personal-data request or information about the operator, contact [email protected].
