Welcome to shibaSIM. By accessing this website and purchasing our travel eSIM or physical SIM products, you agree to the terms below.

1. Products and services

shibaSIM provides eSIMs and physical SIMs for mobile data connectivity when travelling in Japan and other countries. An eSIM is a digital product: after payment, you receive a QR code to install on a compatible device.

2. Your responsibilities

Before purchase, you must check that your device supports eSIM and is network-unlocked. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address to receive the activation code and for following the installation instructions.

3. Activation and validity

The plan validity period (number of days) starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at the destination, unless the plan description states otherwise. The data allowance and validity are those shown on the plan page.

4. Limits of responsibility

shibaSIM is not responsible for interruptions caused by a local carrier, coverage conditions, or an incompatible or locked device. We will provide the best possible support to help you get connected.
